Accountability Assessment

To get where you want to go at work and in life, there is no magic or all-powerful wizard who will help you. Just as in the classic movie, "The Wizard of Oz", everything needed for success was inside of each person all along - they possessed the power to get the results they wanted. The book, "The Oz Principle" reminds us that getting stuck on the yellow brick road, blaming others for our circumstances, and waiting for wizards to wave their magic wands won't make everything we want appear or disappear. In this month's blog, find out how you (or your teams) rate on "The Oz Principle's" measures of accountability...

Go to the following link: http://www.ozprinciple.com/publicassessments/welcome/

From here, you have the opportunity to register yourself and/or your team members for various complimentary accountability assessments. (Note… You will have to provide your email, etc. to Partners in Leadership.)

If at all possible, I would suggest that your entire team completes the “Oz Principle Team Accountability Assessment”, so you can do this as a team activity (and discuss the results in a team meeting). Here is a link to a sample team assessment report that shows you what you can expect to receive after your team has the opportunity to complete that assessment: http://www.ozprinciple.com/publicassessments/preview/assessment_report_preview.pdf

After individually or having your team complete the assessment, you may want to explore the following:

· In what areas did I/we score well—what are my/our strengths?

· In what areas could I/we improve?

· What specific action steps can/will I/we take (identify steps, owners, and dates to review progress)?

SHINE ON!
